FAA Proposes $87,000 Fine Against Comfylife, LLC Over Hazardous Materials Allegations
WASHINGTON — The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed an $87,000 civil penalty against Cherry Hill, New Jersey-based Comfylife, LLC for alleged violations of U.S. Department of Transportation hazardous materials regulations.
According to the FAA, Comfylife offered multiple air shipments between November 2025 and April 2026 that contained items classified as hazardous materials. These items included flammable and non-flammable aerosols, flammable liquid adhesive, flammable liquid paint, and lithium-ion batteries.
The agency further alleged that the shipments lacked the mandatory hazardous materials transportation documentation. Additionally, the FAA stated that the materials were not properly classed, described, packaged, marked, labeled, or maintained in the proper condition required for shipment.
Comfylife has 30 days from the receipt of the FAA's notice to provide a response to the agency.
