Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Collision in Deer Park
A 19-year-old motorcyclist died following a collision with a car in Deer Park on the evening of Friday, 2 October.
According to Victoria Police, the crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. when a motorcycle and a Toyota Corolla collided on Ballarat Road. The 19-year-old male rider died at the scene.
The sole occupant of the Toyota, a 43-year-old male driver, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Police stated that the exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and an investigation is ongoing. Authorities have urged anyone who witnessed the incident, possesses CCTV or dashcam footage, or has relevant information to contact Crime Stoppers.
