Teenager Stabbed at Melton South School, Investigation Underway

Melton Crime Investigation Unit detectives are currently conducting an investigation into a stabbing incident that occurred at a school in Melton South this afternoon. The incident took place on Wilson Road, and emergency services were alerted after reports of a teenager being stabbed around 3 pm.

The victim, a 16-year-old boy, was swiftly transported to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. Meanwhile, a 17-year-old boy voluntarily presented himself at a police station, where he was subsequently arrested. At present, the arrested teenager is cooperating with the police in their ongoing inquiries.

According to the available information, it is believed that another male teenager fled the scene on foot. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident have yet to be established, and the investigation is still in progress.
