15th Arrest Made in Wakeley Public Order Incident Investigation,

A 15th person has been charged in connection to the Wakeley public order incident that took place last month. Officers attached to Strike Force Dribs arrested a 41-year-old man after he turned himself in at the Narellan Police Station on Tuesday (7 May 2024). The man has been issued a court attendance notice for more than three people using violence to cause fear and joining or continuing in an unlawful assembly.

He is set to appear in Fairfield Local Court on Wednesday 26 June 2024. The man’s arrest is the latest development in the ongoing investigation by Strike Force Dribs, which was established to investigate the public order incident.

The NSW Police is urging anyone with information about this incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or through their website. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages, as all information will be treated in strict confidence. The investigation is ongoing, and further details are yet to be released.
