In a recent operation, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) have confiscated approximately 50kg of methamphetamine concealed within plastic pallets. The seizure took place on August 1, 2023, when officers from the Australian Border Force (ABF) conducted a routine examination of a shipping container that had arrived in Sydney from Iran. The examination revealed the presence of methamphetamine impregnated within five blue plastic pallets, leading to the immediate seizure of the consignment.

While the investigation is ongoing, no charges have been laid as of yet.
