“Elderly Motorcyclists Injured in Central Tablelands Crash: Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage”

Two elderly motorcyclists were seriously injured in a crash on The Escort Way, Boree, in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales. The incident occurred around 1 pm on Thursday, 2nd May 2024, involving a 77-year-old man on a Triumph motorcycle with a sidecar and a 59-year-old man on a separate motorcycle without a sidecar. Both riders were taken to Orange Hospital in stable but serious condition.

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage to help determine the circumstances leading to the collision. Specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit are currently examining the incident, which took place approximately 30 km west of Orange.
