Man Arrested After Stabbing Incident in Sydney’s South,

A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident that took place in Alexandria, Sydney’s south, on Wednesday, 8th May 2024. The incident occurred around 12:30 pm on O’riordan Street, where a 39-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed by a man believed to be in his 40s. The two individuals are reportedly known to each other.

The woman received medical attention from NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in stable condition. A crime scene was established, and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has commenced.

Following the incident, the police arrested a 45-year-old man this morning (Thursday, 9th May 2024) at Dee Why Police Station. He was subsequently taken to Manly Police Station, and inquiries continue.
