Missing Man with Medical Condition Last Seen in Young: Police Seek Public’s Help,

A 65-year-old man, Alan Beresford, has been reported missing in Young, and the police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate him. Mr. Beresford was last seen on Elizabeth Street around 3:45 PM on Tuesday, 7 May 2024. Officers from The Hume Police District were notified when he could not be contacted or located, and they have since started investigating his whereabouts.

Mr. Beresford’s family and the police are seriously concerned for his welfare due to his medical condition. He is described as Caucasian, around 180cm tall, with a medium build, and grey short hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a red and black flannelette shirt, blue jeans, and grey moccasin shoes.

The police also believe that Mr. Beresford may be traveling in a Silver Mitsubishi Lancer, with New South Wales registration plate DA20RE.
