Victoria’s manufacturing industry is set to be celebrated once again as nominations open for the prestigious Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards. The awards, supported by the Allan Labor Government, aim to recognize and honor the state’s most advanced and innovative manufacturers.

Minister for Jobs and Industry, Natalie Hutchins, has opened nominations for this year’s awards, which highlights individuals and companies that embrace new technologies, excel in business innovation, drive exports, and contribute to the state’s economy. With 14 awards to be presented, including categories such as “Leader in Construction Technologies” and “Leader in Health Technologies,” the event aims to bring industry leaders and newcomers together to share their achievements.

Now in its 22nd year, the Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards has become a prestigious event in Victoria’s manufacturing calendar. Last year’s winners included Think Fencing, recognized as the “Leader in Manufacturing” for their innovative polymer fencing technologies using recycled materials, and Elizabeth Lewis-Gray from Gekko Systems, honored for her industry leadership and contribution to global mining technologies.

The awards showcase the importance of the manufacturing sector in driving economic growth and innovation in Victoria. Nominations for this year’s awards are now open, providing an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the industry’s best and brightest.
