Six Girls Arrested in Stolen Porsche SUV Following High-Speed Police Pursuit on the Northern Beaches,

Article: In the early hours of Friday, 10 May 2024, six girls were arrested after a high-speed police pursuit involving a stolen Porsche SUV on the Northern Beaches. The incident began when officers from the Northern Beaches Police Area Command received reports of a break-in on Lalchere Street, Curl Curl, where a Porsche was allegedly taken from a home.

Officers later spotted the stolen SUV on Burnt Bridge Deviation at Manly Vale and attempted to stop the vehicle. However, the driver, a 16-year-old boy, refused to stop, leading to a pursuit. The Porsche eventually collided with a concrete barrier on Spit Road, Mosman. The occupants, including the driver and six female passengers aged between 12 and 16, were not injured.

The girls, aged 12, 15, 16, and three aged 14, were charged with being carried in a conveyance without the owner’s consent and granted conditional bail to appear at the children’s court on Wednesday 5 June 2024. Meanwhile, the teenage boy remains in custody as inquiries into the incident continue.
