Woman Seriously Assaulted on Coffs Creek Walkway: Police Seek Public’s Help,

A woman was seriously assaulted on the Coffs Creek Walkway in Coffs Harbour, with police urgently seeking public assistance to solve the case. The incident occurred around 6 am on Wednesday, 8 May 2024, when the 45-year-old victim was struck from behind and rendered unconscious.

Two members of the public discovered the woman at around 10.23 am and promptly called an ambulance. The victim was taken to the hospital for further treatment. Detectives from the Coffs/Clarence Police District have initiated inquiries into this assault and urge anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity in the area between 5.30 am and 10.30 am to contact Crime Stoppers.

Increased taskings have been assigned to the local area in response to the incident. Authorities urge citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior promptly.
