Police Re-Appeal for Assistance to Locate Missing Man Last Seen in Kiama
New South Wales police are renewing their appeal for public assistance to find 20-year-old Marko Simic, who went missing from Sydney’s south west on Monday, 19 October 2026, and was later believed to be in Kiama.
Simic was last seen on Carrolls Road in Menangle around 4:00 am on Monday. After he could not be located or reached, officers attached to Camden Police Area Command were notified and launched an investigation. Both police and his family have expressed concern for his welfare, stating that his disappearance is out of character.
Subsequent inquiries lead police to believe Simic was at Kiama Railway Station at approximately 11:40 am on the same day. He is known to use public transport networks and frequently visits the Menangle, Oran Park, Kiama, and Killalea Beach Shell Cove areas.
Simic is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 175 cm tall, with a thin build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a beige zip jacket, black pants featuring white "Lucid" lettering on the side, and carrying a black backpack marked with white "Nike" branding.
Authorities are asking anyone who was near Railway Parade and Bong Bong Road around 11:40 am on Monday, or who has relevant information, to contact Crime Stoppers.
